Y. Burak Dolu, founder of KOOP Architecture, spoke at the panel titled “Collective Transformation: Urban Crises – Public Grounds” held on April 19, 2025, as part of the 47th Yapı Fair – Turkeybuild Istanbul at TÜYAP Fair and Congress Center.
The panel focused on the role of public spaces and transformation processes in times of crisis that deeply affect cities, such as natural disasters, climate change, and the pandemic. In his speech, Y. Burak Dolu emphasized collective transformation models and new experiments in housing and urbanity. He also highlighted the responsibilities that architecture must assume during times of crisis and the increasing importance of public projects.
