As leaders in the design of public spaces with cultural and historical significance, we specialize in creating thoughtful and sensitive designs for historical spaces and cultural assets, including heritage sites and museums. We place a strong emphasis on cutting-edge, design-driven, and sustainable proposals that enhance the identity and visitor experience of a place. Throughout the design and development process, we conduct thorough research on cultural, historical, and environmental factors to ensure our designs are well-informed and appropriate, reflecting a strong sense of place.
With a primary focus on historical buildings, heritage sites, and contemporary buildings within historical contexts, our projects cover a wide range of cultural and natural heritage sites, including archaeological sites and UNESCO World Heritage Sites.
KOOP has experience working on various scales, from small houses to 60,000 sqm fortresses, as well as from book design to regional master plans.
