Seddülbahir Fortress Project Published in Sustainable Architecture & Design 2025–2026.

Designed by KOOP Architects, the Seddülbahir Fortress Re-use Project has been featured in the 2025–2026 edition of Sustainable Architecture & Design, a publication contributing to international architectural literature. The project is presented among a selection of distinguished works from around the world.
Published in German and English, the book highlights the Seddülbahir Fortress as an exemplary adaptive reuse project distinguished by its minimal intervention in the historical fabric, use of local materials, and ecological landscape strategies. Bringing together existing ruins with a contemporary architectural approach, the project has gained international recognition for its sustainability– and conservation-oriented design.
This publication once again underscores the significance of the Seddülbahir Fortress project in the fields of architectural conservation and sustainable adaptive reuse on an international platform.
